Starting 5 days after surgery, fill syringe with warm salt water and gently irrigate extraction sockets by placing tip of the syringe into socket and flush. Repeat until water comes out clean and clear.
Sockets should be irrigated, at least twice daily, preferably after every meal, until sockets have fully healed. In some cases, this may take several weeks.
It is not uncommon for a small amount of bleeding to occur when first irrigating, it will quickly subside.
